Mike Smith, NBC-HIS

National Board Certified-Hearing Instrument Specialist

Mike Smith is a Nationally Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist and has been with Hearing Unlimited since 1987. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from William Penn University. Mike is a member of the Iowa Association of Hearing Health Professionals and the International Hearing Aid Society. He has been selected by both Governors Branstad and Vilsack to serve on the Iowa Hearing Aid Dispensers Licensing Board and is a Past-President of the Iowa Hearing Association. He was recently voted “Best Hearing Instrument Specialist” in Story County by the readers of the Ames Tribune for the second year in a row.

What he enjoys most about working at Hearing Unlimited is helping people get back the communication skills they have lost and get them back into life. Mike said, “Unlike most in this profession, I fit people, not hearing aids.” He is interested in hearing conservation and makes custom earplugs right in his office. Not only does Mike take care of hearing needs in Clarion, but also in offices in Ames and Jefferson as well.
Mike lives near Gilbert, IA with his two children. When Mike is not working, you can find him hunting and fishing.

Sandee has been with Hearing Unlimited since 1997. She enjoys working with our patients to assist them in making the hearing aid process pleasant and positive. On her off time, Sandee likes to spend time cooking, gardening and camping with her family.

I ordered 2 CLEARION amplifiers I enjoy listening to the music and watching tv turned down low so my wife Maggie can sleep I accidentally took a shower with 1 and I believe it's ruined but got almost 2 years out of them and the 1 is still working good
